Materials
We are not interested in overwhelming you with 1000 different stains, woods, hinges, draw slides etc… Instead we want to take the simple approach as we have used the majority of what is out there and landed on a few simple products that are quality and elegant. So here are a few of the materials we recommend.
Hard Wood
Oak - Oak is the hardest wood we use and often the most popular for its natural look and resilience. It is also the most prone to movement and most expensive.
Ash - Is a great alternative to Oak and has similar features. It is slightly cheaper and less prone to movement, but with the right stain can look beautiful and comparable to oak
Walnut - Is a beautiful Dark wood that is impossible to replicate. It is hard and durable yet has a softness about it.
Pine - Is a simple wood that should not be overlooked. Although it is cheapest and softest it can still achieve great results (Not recommended for hard wearing surfaces)
Teak - Is a great wood for exterior use, and has beautiful results. Teak is not cheap but if you want exterior furniture it is a great option.

Ply
We use two suppliers of plywoods and veneers as we have been very happy with their quality and results. Plymasters and makers ply. They are reasonably priced and offer a good selection for any project.

Oils/Stains
Osmo - Is our natural hardwood wax/oil that protect the wood while giving it a natural look. If there is any scratch or nick it makes easy to sand and repair. This a great product that is natural and does not leave fumes

GRASS
We use GRASS, because it works - and it works well for the price.
